Covid can be trying...

I don't know about you, but sometimes Covid gets the best of me.  I get tired of isolation, tired of wearing a mask, tired of not seeing my friends...I just get plain tired of it all.  It was on one of these days when life was looking pretty bleak that I received an email from my friend, Beth Beall.  

Beth is the director of Vida Joven Orphanage in Tijuana.  Now here's a group of kids who've not only been locked down since March, they're also confined to a small outside play area that is totally concrete void of any flowers, trees, or green grass.  If anyone had the right to be angry it's these little ones.

Beth's email said the children were so happy to be the recipients of Twoee's Howlin' Good Ice Cream this holiday season. The kids wanted to say thanks to all you donors who have purchased ice cream and made their Christmas special this year.

It was such a blessing to receive that email and to be apart of something meaningful...especially when Covid has taken so much from us.  Thank you for your support! Merry Christmas.
